Singing

An experienced, classically trained singer, Amy has performed as a soloist, and as part of professional choirs, for concerts, recordings and events in the UK and abroad. She has recorded vocals for art installations, choral albums, film music and classical-crossover artists such as Joanna Forest, Carly Paoli and Russell Watson. Amy has always loved singing jazz and performs with a Jazz Orchestra and with the accomplished jazz pianist, Jane Whittle. She has also performed imaginative sets of pop/indie/rock songs at large events in collaboration with an excellent professional guitarist. Teaching

Amy runs a busy teaching studio and her aim is to help her students produce healthy, correct and efficient vocal technique, bloom in confidence and enjoy their voice! Amy’s teaching covers all genres of music and she works with children and adults at all levels. She is also a qualified teacher and has taught Music up to A level, very successfully, for over 15yrs. Choral Directing

Amy is the conductor of The TfO Choir, which regularly performs alongside The film Orchestra (TfO), and The Shire Choir, a community choir located on the Shropshire/Herefordshire border. With a wealth of experience in leading music and choral departments in schools, she is a dedicated and passionate music educator who has witnessed first-hand the joy, sense of belonging, and confidence that singing can inspire! Amy is the vocalist for this concert where she will be performing music from the Great American Songbook with this fabulous swing orchestra!
